About West Coast Dragons

West Coast Dragons was originally conceived in late 2004 with the fulfillment of a simple desire to own a Bearded Dragon. Of course, almost immediately after our first "Beardie" arrived, a second followed and so on. Our growing fascination with the animal led us to research and learn as much as we could about these wonderful creatures. With our expanding stock and knowledge, West Coast Dragons was born.

West Coast Dragons - Vancouver Island Breeders is based in Lantzville on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are a Canadian Registered Partnership dedicated solely to the quality breeding and care of the Inland Bearded Dragon. After caring for, breeding and raising our own expanding collection for three years, in early 2008 we made the transition to a full business by registering our company, beginning the expansion of our facilities and investing in what we believe will be a long and successful venture. We are not a large scale "farming" operation but a growing small enterprise whose goal is to provide the source for top quality dragons on Vancouver Island, throughout British Columbia and beyond.

Our current and future breeders have been selected with this in mind and have been acquired from some of the most reputable breeders in Canada and the United States. In addition to our dragons we also house our own ever-expanding feeder colonies. Over the coming months and years we will continue to grow our current facilities and stock of breeders and are looking forward to providing the West Coast, as well as the rest of Canada, with the finest Normal and Color Morph dragons available.
