Misting and Bathing
Given that the basic husbandry is ideal "Misting" is an occasional requirement at best. Although an occasional misting from tip to tip may aid in a dragons hydration and shedding process, frequent misting should be avoided. Repeated over misting can have the potential to create additional problems for no real benefit. When misting, water should be at room temperature and done at appropriate times as this can cause the dragons internal temperatures to decrease.
**Avoid misting before and after feeding live prey**
Bathing:
On occasion let your dragon have a bath, chest deep warm water, not too hot. Some dragons seem to enjoy soaking and it may help to assist in hydration in addition to loosening stuck shed and a good general cleaning. Dragons will often defecate in the bath water, change the water immediately and run a fresh bath, they will only soil their water once on most occasions. Baths are ideal prior to allowing your dragon out of the enclosure as it helps to prevent "accidents".
**Do not leave your dragon unattended**
